COLLINS ELEMENTARY OF FOREST HILLS PUBLIC SCHOOLS MI USA, SPONSORED AN ALL WEEK’S STUDY ABOUT UGANDA, THROUGH SOCIAL STUDIES & DIVERSITY.

Collins Elementary School  Students and Staff from  Forest Hills Public Schools, sponsored an educational week of study about Uganda. Many thanks to Collins Champions of Diversity, who led the way for this campus wide educational  event. Not only did all the teachers help the students focus on all Uganda Social Studies, but also motivated the students in a water well fundraising campaign. The School Principle and his staff members invited all the student’s parents to attend the special ceremony marking the end of the week’s study. All the student’s  body, parents and staff members met in the school gymnasium, where presentations and reflections were made regarding this learning experience. A BIG check from the proceeds of the student fundraisers was presented to Global Youth Foundation USA, to help provide a water well for our school in Uganda.
